Mobilization Manager

This is a remote or in-person position with significant travel expected, including regular visits to churches, conferences, ministry partners, and GFM events throughout the United States. Periodic travel to GFM's headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia (if remote), and occasional international travel may also be required.




      Overview


      The Mobilization Manager provides spiritual, strategic, and operational leadership for Global Frontier Missions' (GFM) mobilization ministry. This position exists to help churches and individuals discover, embrace, and live out their unique role in God's global mission by developing mobilization pathways, equipping Kingdom Ambassadors, strengthening church partnerships, and identifying, preparing, and sending believers to serve among the least reached peoples of the world.
      The role combines discipleship, mentoring, leadership development, partnership cultivation, oversight and development of GFM's mobilization initiatives. Because this position serves an essential ministry function, it is designated as a ministerial role requiring a demonstrated call to Christian service and participation in GFM's religious mission.




          KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


          1. Lead GFM's Mobilization Ministry:
        • Provide spiritual, strategic, and operational leadership for GFM's mobilization ministry, helping churches and individuals discover and live out their role in God's global mission.

        • Recruit, equip, coach, pray with, and support GFM Kingdom Ambassadors as they mobilize churches and individuals toward meaningful participation in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20).

        • Mentor and disciple prospective missionaries and ministry leaders as they discern and prepare for cross-cultural service (Ephesians 4:11–12).

        • Represent GFM through preaching, teaching, conferences, church partnerships, and other mobilization opportunities.

        • Collaborate with GFM leadership to continually strengthen and expand GFM's mobilization strategy.



              • 2. Develop Mobilization Pathways & Resources:
            • Lead the continued development and implementation of the Global Christian Journey, including Step In, Step Out, the Global Christian Experience, and future Christian missions mobilization resources.

            • Develop and multiply GFM's Global Christian Experience by leading flagship experiences in Clarkston and equipping Kingdom Ambassadors to reproduce these experiences within their own churches, communities, and regions.

            • Develop and continually improve GFM's mobilization pathways, coaching and discipleship processes, and follow-up systems that help churches and individuals move from awareness to active participation in God's global mission.

            • Collaborate with Marketing, Tech Services, Development, and other GFM teams to create a seamless mobilization journey from first engagement through long-term missionary service.

            • Utilize CRM systems, reporting tools, and future digital platforms to strengthen engagement, coaching, communication, and organizational effectiveness.

            • Track key mobilization metrics and recommend improvements that increase ministry effectiveness and Kingdom impact.


                • 3. Cultivate Strategic Partnerships:
              • Build and strengthen relationships with churches, mission agencies, and ministry partners who share GFM's passion for mobilizing the Church.

              • Help churches and individuals identify meaningful next steps in God's global mission, whether through GFM ministries or trusted Kingdom partners when appropriate.

              • Represent GFM in collaborative initiatives that strengthen Kingdom-minded mobilization and encourage greater cooperation across the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12–27).

              • Identify opportunities to expand GFM's network of strategic partnerships that advance the Great Commission (Philippians 1:3–5).


                  • 4. Help Steward the Kingdom Ambassadors Initiative:
                • Serve as GFM's primary ministry leader responsible for implementing and advancing the Kingdom Ambassadors Initiative within GFM.

                • Work alongside GFM leadership to develop the systems, relationships, resources, and coaching strategies needed to strengthen the Initiative.

                • Collaborate with current and future ministry partners to cultivate a shared vision for mobilizing churches and individuals toward God's global mission.

                • Contribute to the ongoing development of collaborative mobilization strategies, shared resources, and future technologies that strengthen Kingdom-wide mobilization efforts.



                      • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



                      • Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values, and statement of faith.

                      • Must identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ with a clear sense of divine calling to the ministry of mobilization.

                      • Willingness to obtain or hold recognized ministerial credentials (licensing or ordination).

                      • Be prepared to experience significant missions training and biblical discipleship through GFM’s Missionary Training School (in person sessions or online). This confirms commitment to GFM's religious mission and theological training.

                      • Demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others.

                      • Display advanced interpersonal relational skills and be dedicated to peacemaking.

                      • Be competent with preaching and teaching the Gospel and missions vision in various settings.

                      • Proficiency (or willingness to learn) in digital tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Salesforce.

                      • Commitment to continued spiritual formation and ministry development.



                        RECOMMENDED



                        • A college degree is preferred but not required; formal or informal training in ministry, theology, biblical studies, missions, or organizational leadership is highly valued.

                        • Previous experience in missions mobilization, pastoral ministry, church engagement, discipleship, or spiritual leadership.

                        • Experience building partnerships across churches, ministries, or organizations.

                        • Demonstrated ability to develop people, improve systems, and lead collaborative initiatives.


                        MINISTERIAL EXPECTATIONS


                        This role directly supports GFM’s religious mission to make Jesus known among the nations and mobilize the Church toward active participation in the Great Commission. Regular responsibilities include prayer, worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, spiritual mentoring, and representing GFM’s faith and mission with churches, individuals, and ministry partners.



                          The Mobilization Manager is expected to model mature Christian character, participate actively in GFM’s corporate spiritual life, and lead others toward deeper obedience to Christ and engagement in His global mission. Staff serving in this position may qualify for clergy housing allowance and other ministerial benefits in accordance with applicable IRS guidelines.
